TGM CEO Ego Iwegbu recently hosted an Insta LIVE with Rasheda Crockett, an LA writer, and actress who is originally from NYC and recently became a TGM Brand Ambassador.

Here are a few key takeouts from the lively conversation these two enjoyed while Rasheda chatted to Ego to learn more about The Good Mineral and why it is such a game changer in terms of gentle, easy-to-use makeup.

You don't need to layer to get exceptional coverage

Rasheda wears concealer for her dark circles - her main skin concern, which is genetic. However, during their chat Ego was able to demonstrate that she can cover her under-eye circles using only her ideal shade of Loves-You-Back 3in1 Foundation (Caramel 4) and the Iconic Flat Blending Brush. The trick is to dip the corner, not the full brush, and to lightly dab (NOT sweep) on the powder. In short - don't dust, press down.

You may need more than one shade though...

For instance, in this video Rasheda also uses COCO 1 for the darker areas of her skin and to match her neck and chest to ensure that her look is as natural as possible.

Agitation-free makeup techniques are ideal for sensitive skin

Because The Good Mineral makeup can be applied using the gentle pressing technique, it's ideal for individuals who have rosacea, acne scars, hyperpigmentation, etc. It's a clean and effective way to get full, yet natural coverage.

Although Rasheda does not have any concerns like these, she does deal with mascne - acne that is caused by wearing a mask. It appears in the areas of your face where your mask is covering (the bottom half of the face). So she finds it wonderful that TGM makeup calms these areas down, instead of inflaming them. Another big plus is the physical SPF benefits offered by the zinc ozide in the formulations.

Clean makeup is based on a process of elimination

Rasheda said that even though makeup is an everyday thing for her and forms a part of her self-care routine, she does not feel that she is particularly adept at it. So if she can do it, anyone can.
